About us

Who we are

Carers Corner was founded by Victoria Romeo, an award-winning entrepreneur, mentor and carer.

Victoria has built and exited ventures from the ground up, a startup mentor across Australia’s leading universities, and led enterprise sales and partnerships at scale. Her career spans business, technology, and social impact - but her most defining role has been as a carer: for her mother living with dementia, and for other loved ones navigating complex health challenges, all while raising a young child of her own.

That lived experience, combined with her professional expertise, is what inspired Carers Corner: a platform designed to make caring visible, valued, and supported.

Through Carers Corner, Victoria is bringing together carers, workplaces, and communities to ease the load of caring, anticipate what’s ahead, and create systems where carers can thrive, not just survive.
